Privacy Policy
How we handle your data, and more importantly, your footage.
1. Who we are
Sentrywork Technologies Ltd ("Sentrywork", "we") provides real-time safety monitoring using computer vision on camera feeds that our customers own and operate. Contact: joseph@sentrywork.site.
2. What we process
- Account and contact data: names, work emails, company details you give us when you enquire, join the waitlist, or open an account.
- Camera footage: live video streams from cameras our customers connect. Footage is processed to detect safety violations. We do not perform facial recognition and we do not identify individual workers by name.
- Alert clips: short video segments tied to detected violations, stored with a camera ID and timestamp.
- Usage data: how the dashboard is used, for reliability and product improvement.
3. Footage handling and retention
- Continuous streams are processed in near real time and are not kept as continuous recordings.
- Only clips tied to alerts are stored, under the retention period the customer sets. When the period ends, clips are deleted.
- Confirmed and dismissed alerts may be used to retrain detection models for the customer's own site. Use of footage to improve models across customers happens only with the customer's written agreement.
4. Where data lives
Sentrywork runs on Amazon Web Services. Camera streams are ingested via Amazon Kinesis Video Streams, alert clips are stored in Amazon S3, and records are held in Amazon RDS, in the region agreed with the customer. [confirm region(s)]
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with the subprocessors needed to run the service (cloud infrastructure, email delivery), under data processing agreements, and where the law requires it.
6. Workers on camera
Our customers are responsible for lawful camera use on their sites, including any signage and notices required locally. Sentrywork processes footage on the customer's instructions as a processor. Where workers exercise data rights, we support our customers in responding.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict processing. Write to joseph@sentrywork.site and we will respond within the statutory period.
8. Cookies and analytics
This website uses no advertising trackers. If we enable analytics, it will be a privacy-friendly, cookie-less service, and this policy will be updated first.
9. Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page and, for material changes, notify account holders by email.
